Adelante Sí Hispanic Organization is the parent non-profit that organizes Fiesta Latina. Adelante Sí is involved year round in projects that directly effect the Hispanic community. Every year Adelante Sí participates in many charity events.

Promotion of Fiesta Latina at the Lane County Fair on Sunday, August 17th.

November 2009
Hosted the Consulate of Mexico at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene. Scheduled 250 appointments for passports, Matrículas Consulares, registration of children.
October 2009
Adelante Sí hosted two guests from the Government of the City of Guanajuato, Mexico to start the negotiations for a presentation at Fiesta Latina of a collection of photographs related to the Bicentennial Celebration of the Mexican Independence and the Centennial Celebration of the Mexican Revolution.

Mexican Artist Javier Hernández “Capelo” from Guanajuato, Mexico guided the students of Hamlin Middle School in Springfield, Oregon to create a 28’ x 6’ mural that is permanently on display on the outside wall of the gym.

Celebration of the Day of the Death at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, EMU at the University of Oregon, and Oak Hill School in Eugene.

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon and our organization made it possible to have Mexican artist Javier Hernández “Capelo” create a collection of 12 paintings that were in exhibit at the museum for a period of 4 weeks.

Adelante Sí will recruit over 200 bilingual volunteers to assist the 6th FIMBA Pan American Maxibasketball Championship brought by Travel Lane County.
